| Mr. Rowald has been practicing intellectual
property law since 1989. Although Mr. Rowald's practice
focuses on litigation related to patents, trademarks,
copyrights, trade secrets and general intellectual property
matters, he is also involved in the procurement of patents,
primarily in the technical areas of chemistry, chemical
processes and mechanical systems. He has also helped
with intellectual property due diligence issues. |

Mr. Rowald assists companies in
determining the availability and scope of patent, trademark
and copyright protection, procuring domestic and international
protection for such intellectual property assets, and ensuring
long-term maintenance of intellectual property assets throughout
the world. He has personally drafted and prosecuted patents
in several fields and supervised others with technical backgrounds
that match the field of other innovations, including business
methods, computer hardware and software, semiconductors, electronics,
fuel systems, engines, oilfield services, chemicals and associated
processes, medical devices, biotechnology, and the mechanical
arts. Mr. Rowald works with others to provide full representation
throughout the world to address his clients' legal needs almost
anywhere on the globe.
